With over 140 local businesses exhibiting and more than 1,000 visitors walking through the doors, it was a fantastic opportunity for us to catch up with old friends, make new connections, and showcase what we do best, providing dependable, people-first business IT support in Essex!

Our stand was buzzing all day, and not just because of the Bluetooth speaker and Galaxy chocolate bars we were giving away!

It was great to catch up with our marketing partners Carla and Lee from Koala Digital, and the team at Mid and North Essex Mind, a local mental health charity we’re proud to support. We also bumped into Anthony Agbo from Solveway, the team who helped us recruit one of our fantastic apprentices earlier this year. It’s always a pleasure to share updates and celebrate how far that apprentice has come since joining TechWyse.
Another highlight of the day was a surprise discovery during our chat with the team at Shakery Group, it turns out we both provide services to the same client in Saffron Walden. Essex really is a small world!

Getting People Involved: Our Expo Competitions
To keep things fun and interactive, we ran a couple of competitions throughout the day. The most popular? Our “Crack the Code” challenge, where visitors had to guess the correct code. The closest guess won a stylish Bluetooth speaker, congrats to Jack Flannigan from Gosh! Projects for taking that one home!
We also held a good old-fashioned business card draw. The prize? A well-earned tea for two at The Swan in Lavenham, a local gem. Huge congratulations to Ben Backhouse from Backhouse Solicitors for winning that treat.
These competitions weren’t just about fun; they sparked conversations about our CARE plans, helpdesk response times (currently 92% of tickets are picked up by an engineer within 30 minutes), and how we bring reliable managed cyber security and IT support to Essex-based businesses.
