TechWyse was founded in 1990 when two colleagues, working in London, decided to swop corporate consulting and long commutes to create a support company where IT was personal, proactive, and aided businesses to grow.
Over the past 30 years, TechWyse has become the trusted IT support partner for hundreds of businesses across Essex and beyond. Today, Adam, David, and Vanessa lead a 15-strong team, delivering proactive, personal service rooted in a culture that values people, both clients and colleagues, and always aims to provide quality with a smile.

When we’re not working with clients, our talented team love finding ways to unwind together. Supporting people through IT issues can be intense, so we make sure there are plenty of opportunities to blow off steam and celebrate as a team. Whether it’s a Nerf gun battle, a high energy away day activity, or a mindful moment on a bean bag, we believe in creating a healthy, stress-free, and collaborative environment.
Alongside the fun we also value the human side of work by providing paid sick leave, the real living wage, full health insurance, and hybrid flexible working. We also give each colleague paid time each month to dedicate to their learning or mentoring an apprentice.

Proudly certified by the Good Business Charter, and actively aligning our practices with B Corp standards, TechWyse is aiming for net zero by 2030. Our main office already runs on 100% renewable energy, and we’ve achieved carbon neutrality through offsetting since 2022. We are now focusing on formalising our carbon reduction plan and enhancing our data tracking systems to ensure transparent measurable progress.
Although we are technical nerds we do love getting away from our screens and as long time supporters of Essex Wildlife Trust we love exploring our local Essex countryside and reserves. We also enjoy supporting other local charities and for the last three years our team have sponsored and take part in the Colchester Stampede to raise funds for Mid and North East Essex Mind.
