TechWyse Named on the MSP 501 for the Fourth Year Running

There are plenty of awards in business that make for a nice photo and a social media post. The MSP 501 is different. That’s why I’m incredibly proud to share that TechWyse has once again been recognised on the 2026 MSP 501, marking our fourth consecutive year on one of the technology industry’s most respected global rankings of managed service providers. This year we’ve been ranked 308th in the world, alongside hundreds of outstanding MSPs delivering exceptional service to businesses across the globe. Of course, receiving the recognition is something we’re immensely proud of. But for me, the real value isn’t the number next to our name. It’s what that recognition says about the way we’ve chosen to build TechWyse. Growth is important – but only if you do it properly One of the biggest surprises this year was seeing my comments featured in the MSP Summit’s coverage of the awards. I said: “The outlook for 2026 is positive, but it’s not about chasing growth for the sake of it. It’s about doing the right work, for the right clients, and doing it properly.” I genuinely believe that. Like many businesses, we have ambitions to grow. But growth has never been our goal on its own. Our goal has always been to build lasting relationships with clients, invest in our people, and give businesses the confidence that their technology is supporting them rather than holding them back. If we can achieve that, the growth tends to follow naturally. More than just an award The MSP 501 isn’t based on votes or popularity. It’s a global benchmark that assesses managed service providers on a range of business measures, including operational excellence, recurring revenue, profitability and innovation. It’s designed to recognise organisations that consistently deliver high-quality managed services while building sustainable businesses. To appear on the list once is a fantastic achievement. To be recognised four years in a row tells us we’re continuing to move in the right direction. More importantly, it reassures our clients that they’re working with a team that’s committed to continually improving. What this means for our clients Awards are great, but they don’t solve IT problems. People do. Behind every recognition like this is a team of talented engineers, consultants and support specialists who genuinely care about helping our clients succeed. Over the past year we’ve continued investing in areas that we know matter most to businesses today: Strengthening cyber security services as threats continue to evolve. Helping clients prepare for AI in a practical, sensible way. Providing strategic IT guidance that supports long-term business growth. Continuing to develop our team so we can maintain the personal service our clients value. One part of my MSP Summit interview particularly resonated with me. I spoke about giving clients clarity. Helping them understand what they should be doing, what good looks like and, perhaps most importantly, what can wait for now. I think that’s becoming increasingly important. Technology moves incredibly quickly, and it’s easy for businesses to feel overwhelmed by the latest trends, products and security advice. Our job isn’t to recommend every new piece of technology that appears. Our job is to help clients make informed decisions that genuinely benefit their business. Sometimes that means investing in something new. Sometimes it means getting more from the technology you already have. And sometimes it means advising you not to spend money just yet. Looking ahead As we continue through 2026, our focus remains exactly the same. We’ll keep investing in our people. We’ll continue strengthening our cyber security and strategic consultancy services. We’ll help businesses navigate emerging technologies like AI without losing sight of what really matters. Most importantly, we’ll continue building the long-term partnerships that have always been at the heart of TechWyse. Being recognised on the MSP 501 for a fourth consecutive year is something we’re incredibly proud of. But awards don’t define us. The trust our clients place in us every day does. I’d like to thank every member of the TechWyse team for their hard work, and every client who continues to put their faith in us. Your support is the reason we’re able to achieve milestones like this, and we certainly won’t be taking it for granted. Adam, Managing Director of TechWyse
TechWyse Named in the Essex Tech 50 for 2026!

We are incredibly proud to announce that TechWyse has been included in Extraordinary Essex‘s ‘Essex Tech 50’ for 2026, a recognition that celebrates some of the most innovative, impactful, and fast-growing technology businesses across the county. Being featured in the Essex Tech 50 is a real milestone for our team. As a business that has spent decades helping organisations improve, secure, and simplify their technology, it means a lot to be recognised alongside some of the most exciting tech companies in Essex. For us, this recognition is not just about technology. It reflects the relationships we build with our clients, the quality of support we provide every day, and our long-term commitment to helping Essex businesses grow through better IT support. What is the Essex Tech 50? The Essex Tech 50 initiative was launched to recognise and celebrate the thriving digital technology sector across Essex. Each year, businesses are selected based on a range of factors, including innovation, growth potential, investment, employment, skills development, and local impact. The 2026 list highlights the strength of the county’s technology sector, which now includes more than 5,300 tech businesses employing over 20,500 people. The Essex Tech 50 has quickly become far more than just a list. It shines a spotlight on businesses that are helping shape the future of technology in Essex while contributing to the local economy and supporting innovation within their industries. To be recognised as part of the Essex Tech 50 alongside companies working in AI, cybersecurity, software development, robotics, aerospace, and digital transformation is something we are genuinely honoured by. Why TechWyse Was Chosen for the Essex Tech 50 At TechWyse, we have always believed that technology should help businesses create space, space to grow, space to focus, and space to operate without constant IT headaches. That philosophy sits at the heart of everything we do, whether we are delivering the kind of high-quality IT support Essex businesses can rely on, helping clients improve cybersecurity, or guiding organisations through long-term digital transformation. The Essex Tech 50 recognises businesses that are making a meaningful impact, and we believe our people-first approach has been a huge part of that. We are not a faceless provider. We are a local team that genuinely cares about our clients and their success. Many of our clients have worked with us for more than ten years, and we are proud to become a trusted extension of their businesses over time. As one of the growing IT support companies in Essex, we have focused heavily on service quality, transparency, and building long-term relationships rather than chasing quick wins. Delivering Managed IT Services Essex Businesses Can Depend On Technology issues can slow businesses down, create unnecessary stress, and impact productivity. That is why our focus has always been on delivering dependable, proactive support that helps clients stay ahead of problems rather than constantly reacting to them. Our managed services approach combines responsive support with strategic guidance, cybersecurity protection, cloud services, backup solutions, and ongoing account management. As providers of managed IT services in Essex, we continually invest in improving our service delivery and support processes. In fact, our latest support figures show that 92% of all tickets were assigned to an engineer within 30 minutes, with an average resolution time of just two hours. Those numbers matter because downtime costs businesses time, money, and momentum. We know that business owners need reliable technology and a support team they can trust to communicate clearly and solve problems efficiently. More Than Just an IT Helpdesk Essex Businesses Call When Things Go Wrong A lot of businesses only think about IT when something breaks. We believe good technology support should go much further than that. Our role is not simply to act as an IT helpdesk Essex businesses contact during emergencies. We work proactively with our clients to help them improve efficiency, reduce risk, and plan for future growth. That includes regular strategic reviews, cyber security guidance, cloud transformation, compliance support, and helping businesses make informed technology decisions. One thing we are especially proud of is our honest approach. We will never sell clients technology they do not need. Instead, we focus on practical solutions that genuinely improve how businesses operate. Our onboarding process also includes onsite visits so we can properly understand a client’s systems, team, and goals from day one. That personal approach is a big part of what makes our service different. Supporting Essex Businesses Through Technology Being included in the Essex Tech 50 also reflects the incredible businesses we work with every day. Essex has an exciting and rapidly growing business community, and we are proud to support organisations across a wide range of sectors with dependable IT support Essex companies can rely on. From cybersecurity and Microsoft 365 support to cloud migrations and strategic IT planning, we are passionate about helping businesses use technology as a tool for growth rather than a source of frustration. As one of the recognised IT support companies in Essex, we are also committed to continuous improvement internally. We invest heavily in our team, service quality frameworks, and cybersecurity capabilities to ensure we continue delivering the highest standards of support. Looking Ahead After the Essex Tech 50 Recognition Being part of the Essex Tech 50 is a fantastic achievement for our team, but it is also motivation to keep pushing forward. Technology is constantly evolving, and businesses need support partners who can help them navigate that change with confidence. Our next step is working towards the new Assurix trustmark, giving our clients proof, not promises, when it comes to the quality, security, and reliability of the services we provide. At TechWyse, we remain focused on delivering reliable support, honest advice, and long-term value for our clients through high-quality Managed IT Services Essex businesses can trust. We would like to say a huge thank you to our clients, partners, and team members who have helped us reach this point. This recognition belongs to all of you as much as it
Support Mind at Colchester Stampede 2026 with TechWyse

Support is at the heart of what we do, not just for our clients, but for our community too. That’s why some of our team will be taking on the 10K Run at the Colchester Stampede on Sunday 17 May 2026, raising money for Mid and North East Essex Mind. This year marks our fourth time sponsoring and running in support of Mid and North East Essex Mind, and we’re proud to be back on the starting line once again. Supporting Mid and North East Essex Mind Mental health affects every workplace, every family, and every community. For many people, the right support at the right time can be life-changing. Mid and North East Essex Mind is an independent local charity working to make sure nobody has to face their problem alone. By choosing to run for Mind again this year, we’re helping shine a light on mental health, and doing something practical to help fund the services that local people rely on. What the Colchester Stampede is all about (and why we love it) The Colchester Stampede is a brilliant community event, a day that brings people together around a shared goal: raising money for a great cause while taking on a rewarding challenge. For our team, it’s more than “just” a race. It’s a chance to show our support, represent our values, improve our own wellbeing, and do something that genuinely matters outside of the day-to-day. And yes, it’s a 10K Run, so the training is real. Meet the team Our runners for 2026 are Owen, Ben, Ryan, Adam, Chris, Jacob and David, and they’ll be putting the miles in to help fund vital local mental health services. They each have their own reason for taking part, but they all share the same aim: to show support for better mental health across Mid and North East Essex. Training for a 10K isn’t always glamorous. There are early starts, rainy runs, tired legs, and the constant temptation to skip “just this one session”. But every run completed is a reminder of why they’re doing it, to raise funds and awareness for people who need it. How your support helps When you donate, share, or talk about this event, you’re doing more than helping us hit a fundraising target, you’re helping local mental health support reach more people. Your support can help in a few simple ways: 1) Donate (even a small amount helps) Every contribution adds up and helps Mid and North East Essex Mind continue its work. 2) Share the campaign A quick share can reach someone who’s been meaning to donate, or someone who cares deeply about mental health and wants to help. 3) Encourage conversation Talking openly about mental health at work helps reduce stigma. Our fourth year of support and why we keep coming back We’ve been involved with this event for several years, and it’s become something we genuinely look forward to. Last year we shared an update during the 2025 run-up that the team had raised £820, so lets see if we can beat that this year. Coming back for a fourth year isn’t about repeating ourselves, it’s about doubling down on something we believe in: showing up, putting effort in, and offering support where it counts. ➡️ OUR JUSTGIVING LINK FOR MIND: TechWyse Team fundraising for Mid and North East Essex Mind is fundraising for Mid and North East Essex Mind It’s not the only thing we’ve done raising money for Mind, you can read about our day out at Invasion Colchester here TechWyse Take Part in Invasion Colchester For a Great Cause! Want to show support on the day? If you’re local to Colchester and you’d like to be part of it, there are plenty of ways to get involved beyond donating. Come to the zoo and cheer the runners on. Share the fundraiser. Send a message of encouragement. That kind of Support helps more than you might think. And if you’d like to talk to us about workplace wellbeing, culture, or creating healthier ways of working (including better systems and processes that reduce stress), we’re always happy to chat about our efforts and work towards being achieving our Essex Working Well Workplace Wellbeing award. Thank you for your support and wish our runners luck for Sunday 17 May 2026!

Tea, Tech and Talking Shop: A Great Day Out at the North Essex Business Expo!

Last week, we had the pleasure of exhibiting at the North Essex Business Expo 2025, held at Charter Hall in Colchester. With over 140 local businesses exhibiting and more than 1,000 visitors walking through the doors, it was a fantastic opportunity for us to catch up with old friends, make new connections, and showcase what we do best, providing dependable, people-first business IT support in Essex! As a local IT company in Essex, we’re passionate about staying active in our business community. Being at the Expo isn’t just about handing out flyers and business cards; it’s about building genuine relationships, learning about the challenges local businesses face, and sharing how we can help provide peace of mind with tailored IT support and managed cyber security solutions. The Day at a Glance Our stand was buzzing all day, and not just because of the Bluetooth speaker and Galaxy chocolate bars we were giving away! We had some brilliant conversations with fellow Essex businesses. It was great to catch up with our marketing partners Carla and Lee from Koala Digital, and the team at Mid and North Essex Mind, a local mental health charity we’re proud to support. We also bumped into Anthony Agbo from Solveway, the team who helped us recruit one of our fantastic apprentices earlier this year. It’s always a pleasure to share updates and celebrate how far that apprentice has come since joining TechWyse. Another highlight of the day was a surprise discovery during our chat with the team at Shakery Group, it turns out we both provide services to the same client in Saffron Walden. Essex really is a small world! Beyond the networking, we were delighted to come away with four strong leads from businesses looking for better, more responsive business IT support in Essex. If that was you, thank you for stopping by. We can’t wait to follow up and see how we can help your business grow. Getting People Involved: Our Expo Competitions To keep things fun and interactive, we ran a couple of competitions throughout the day. The most popular? Our “Crack the Code” challenge, where visitors had to guess the correct code. The closest guess won a stylish Bluetooth speaker, congrats to Jack Flannigan from Gosh! Projects for taking that one home! We also held a good old-fashioned business card draw. The prize? A well-earned tea for two at The Swan in Lavenham, a local gem. Huge congratulations to Ben Backhouse from Backhouse Solicitors for winning that treat. These competitions weren’t just about fun; they sparked conversations about our CARE plans, helpdesk response times (currently 92% of tickets are picked up by an engineer within 30 minutes), and how we bring reliable managed cyber security and IT support to Essex-based businesses. Why Events Like This Matter As a family-run IT company in Essex, we pride ourselves on being more than just a provider. We’re a partner. TechWyse Invades Colchester for a Great Cause

On Saturday, 6th September, a few of us from the TechWyse team, Vanessa, Adam, George and Ryan, swapped our laptops and headsets for lightsabers and superheroes to take part in this year’s Invasion Colchester. But don’t worry, we weren’t moonlighting as a rogue IT squad… we were out in full force (pun intended) raising money for the brilliant team at Mind Mid and North East Essex. You might know us as one of the friendliest IT companies in Essex, but for one day only, we were also exhibitors, fundraisers, and yes, very enthusiastic bucket shakers at Invasion Colchester 2025! A Day of Heroes, Villains, and… Tech Support? The Mind Mid and North East Essex stand at Invasion Colchester 2025 was situated on Colchester High Street, just outside Fenwick’s, and was geared up to bring some fun and prizes to the day. They had everything from a spinning prize wheel (£1 per spin and some fab wins!) to a “Guess the Stormtrooper’s Name” competition. There was even a colouring contest for the kids, with a prize for the best masterpiece. Before the festivities kicked off, we had lunch with Carla, Director of our marketing agency Koala Digital, and her daughter, Elle, who was brilliantly dressed as Wednesday Addams. A seriously spooky and stylish start to the day! After lunch, the six of us, including Wednesday Addams herself, headed into town armed with buckets and a mission to raise as much as we could for Mind. The streets of Invasion Colchester were buzzing with energy, laughter, and an incredible display of costumes, from Marvel legends to Star Wars icons, Game of Thrones baddies to Disney royalty. Colchester’s Got (Super) Talent The Mind Mid and North East Essex stand at Invasion Colchester had pride of place right next to a life-sized Optimus Prime, which made us feel like very small IT people in a very big tech world for once. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any more exciting, Colchester MP Pam Cox stopped by to say hello and even snapped a picture with Elle, an absolute highlight! The whole Invasion Colchester day was filled with brilliant moments: meeting new faces, chatting with fellow local businesses, and soaking in the amazing community atmosphere. We were blown away by the number of people who turned out in fancy dress; some of the public really gave the official characters a run for their money. Vanessa even admitted she almost came as Harley Quinn… but later said she was glad she didn’t, as she ended up sharing a park-and-ride seat with someone dressed as the Joker. Could’ve been awkward… Why We Get Involved At TechWyse, we don’t just provide IT support in Essex, we believe in supporting our community too. Getting involved in Invasion Colchester wasn’t just fun (although let’s be honest, it was epic); it was also a brilliant opportunity to help raise awareness and funds for an incredible mental health charity doing vital work in our area. Events like this remind us why being a local business matters. We’re proud to be part of a community that shows up, supports each other, and isn’t afraid to dress up as Darth Vader to do it. What We Took Away (Besides a Bucket of Stormtrooper Name Guesses) Beyond the fun and fundraising at Invasion Colchester, we had a chance to talk to local businesses and families who stopped by to ask about who we are and what we do. And while we weren’t there to talk shop, a few people were pleasantly surprised to hear that dependable, jargon-free IT support in Essex didn’t need to come from a faceless call centre or involve getting upsold to every five minutes. At TechWyse, we focus on giving businesses space. Space to grow, space to think, and space to focus on what really matters. That means reliable helpdesk support, expert advice, and a team that genuinely cares. No capes required! Until Next Year… We’ll definitely be back for Invasion Colchester 2026 (and maybe Vanessa will go full Harley Quinn next time). Huge thanks to everyone who came by the Mind Mid and North East Essex stand, donated, played their games, and chatted with them and us. And of course, massive kudos to the organisers for pulling off another fantastic event. If you want to learn more about this incredible charity, just click this link: Mind Mid and North East Essex! Or if you want to learn more about our IT support services, contact our team. Until next time, may your emails stay spam-free and your passwords remain unbreached!

Led by Vanessa Pedder, the initiative was designed to bring together professionals for an active lunchtime, meaningful conversations, and a break from the usual networking environment. Building Momentum Our first walks in July and August welcomed a mix of team members and local collaborators, including a lovely visit from Kevin Francis from The Little Wild Ones with his dog Finn (pictured). The sessions has been informal and fun – offering a space to share ideas, reflect on challenges, and explore new perspectives while walking through the forest’s tranquil paths. Benefits for Attendees: Improved focus and wellbeing: Many participants noted how the natural setting helped them reset mentally and return to work with renewed clarity. Stronger connections: Walking side-by-side fostered more open conversations and deeper rapport than traditional meetings. Creative breakthroughs: Several attendees reported unexpected insights and ideas sparked during the walks. Benefits for Us: A fresh way to engage with our team and community. A platform to reinforce our values around wellbeing, collaboration, and innovation. A chance to showcase Hatfield Forest as a unique local asset. The last scheduled walk for the season is set for next Wednesday 17th September at 11:45 AM – with the walks then restarting next April. While this marks the end of our summer series, the success of these sessions has laid the groundwork for next year, which may well bring an extended season with Autumnal walks at another local venue.

TechWyse has been named as one of the world’s top-performing managed service providers in the Channel Partners MSP 501 rankings for the third year in a row. The annual Channel Partners MSP 501 list, a technology industry benchmark, ranks companies based on a wide range of metrics including above industry average revenue growth, recurring revenue, high-margin services and innovation including AI services. “The MSP 501 is more than a ranking – it’s a reflection of the innovation, operational excellence, and customer-first mindset that drives the world’s top managed service providers forward.
