April – Your Trusted IT partner celebrates 3rd birthday

Trusted IT partner TechWyse goes from strength to strength: April marks a significant milestone for TechWyse as we celebrate our 3rd Birthday since our rebrand in 2022, and in May we celebrate 35 years in business. This occasion is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our incredible team. To commemorate this special occasion, we will be hosting the Pizza Bros for a special lunch and learn and taking the team to London for a fun social day, but first there was obviously cake to be eaten! Reflecting on the past three years, Adam ( our Managing Director) said “We are very proud of the numerous achievements and milestones we have achieved in the last 3 years. From launching our new service quality framework to expanding our presence as the trusted IT provider in Essex and beyond, our journey has been marked by continuous growth and development.” As we celebrate both birthdays, we reflect on our story so far and the many milestones we have achieved. We are grateful for the challenges we have faced, as they have made us stronger and more resilient. We are proud of the progress we have made and the impact we have had in our industry. Looking ahead, we remain committed to our core values of being trusted, talented, and transparent and still have the same passion we did 35 years ago! We could not do any of this without our fantastic team, whose tireless efforts and dedication have been instrumental in our success. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment have helped us reach new heights and achieve our goals. Every one of them has played a crucial role in our journey, and we are incredibly proud to have such a talented and dedicated team. We also want to thank our clients for their unwavering trust in us. Your loyalty and confidence in our IT support services have been a driving force behind our growth. We are committed to continuing to provide you with innovative solutions and exceptional service, and we look forward to strengthening our partnerships and meeting the IT needs and many more businesses in the years to come. March – Promoting Expert IT Support services in South Essex

TechWyse out on the road – taking their IT support services to South Essex March was a bustling month for TechWyse, culminating in a successful appearance at the South Essex Business Expo (SEBE) 2025. The event provided an excellent opportunity for us to showcase our IT support services for South Essex businesses and connect with industry peers. Our team, including Adam (Managing Director) and Vanessa (Operations Director), were thrilled to engage with a diverse array of businesses, sharing insights and exploring potential collaborations. The positive feedback and interest we received in our managed services (and free chocolate!) were truly encouraging, reaffirming our commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology solutions. While at the expo, we handed out custom branded chocolate bars and travel coffee cups, which were a hit among attendees. TechWyse loves to ease daily stresses for business owners and we hope our hidden Golden Tickets will do just that for everyone that found one! The highlight of SEBE 2025 was undoubtedly the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals and businesses. We had the pleasure of meeting several inspiring companies, each bringing unique perspectives and ideas to the table. The connections made and the conversations had will undoubtedly pave the way for exciting future ventures. Overall, SEBE 2025 was a resounding success for TechWyse, setting a promising tone for the rest of the year. Thank you to Aaron Desmond and his team at Networking Essex – we are definitely looking forward to the next one in Colchester.
February – TechWyse Launches New Referral Scheme

New referral Scheme launched on Valentines Day We are very proud to have many businesses that had their IT services managed by TechWyse for more than 6 years, some more than 15 years, and those clients have always been very generous with their referrals. Their trust and support mean the world to us, so we wanted to launch a scheme that properly thanked and benefitted them. This month we have launched our new referral scheme, crafted to express our gratitude to all those that help us expand our network. It comes in three parts. Firstly, when you refer TechWyse to a business colleague you will receive a delicious box of handcrafted chocolates from our friends at Hill St. in Saffron Walden as a token of our appreciation. But that’s not all! If you are a current client, and your referral signs up for a Care support plan, we will also reduce your remote support invoice by £100 for three consecutive months, ensuring you enjoy both sweet treats and substantial savings. Whilst your referred colleague gains access to our exceptional IT services and will benefit from our 3 month free remote support introductory offer. Our referral scheme is designed to be a win-win for everyone involved. We look forward to growing our network and continuing to make a positive impact on businesses.
December – Christmas Carol: A Digital Transformation

Stave 1: Marley’s Ghost Ebenezer Scrooge sat in his dimly lit office, the blue glow of his computer screen casting his eerie shadow on the walls. It was Christmas Eve, but Scrooge was engrossed in his spreadsheets, meticulously tracking every penny. Suddenly, his screen went blank and the flickering face of his old business partner, Jacob Marley, appeared. Scrooge screamed. “Scrooge,” Marley said, his voice crackling with static, “you must change your ways. Embrace the tools of the future to mend your miserly ways and improve your business.” Stave 2: The First of the Three Spirits Later that night, Scrooge had only just set up Teams when a meeting invite popped up from the Ghost of Christmas Past. The spirit showed Scrooge a PowerPoint presentation of his early business days, and where he had recently struggled with disorganised and inefficient processes. “Look,” the spirit said, sharing his screen, “how much time you wasted. If only you had used Microsoft Planner, To do, or Project to organise your tasks and streamline your operations.” Stave 3: The Second of the Three Spirits The following night, Scrooge was emailed a link by the Ghost of Christmas Present which showed a video of ‘A Day in the Life’ of Bob Cratchit. Despite his humble surroundings, Bob was using Microsoft Teams along with SharePoint to catch up with family and collaborate with colleagues, sharing files effortlessly and virtually keeping in touch. “See how Bob uses Teams to enhance his life, his communication and productivity,” the spirit said. “Imagine the benefits of working with your colleagues and efficiencies you could achieve with such tools.” Stave 4: The Last of the Spirits Finally, the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come joined Scrooge in his office and showed Scrooge a bleak future where his business had failed. The spirit used Copilot to generate an image of his future that showed a neglected office, where outdated technology, poor data management and the lack of a disaster recovery plan, had led to ruin. “Had you embraced new technology and invested in IT support,” the spirit whispered, “you could have made grown your business and had a much happier future.” Scrooge struggled to fall asleep after the meeting, realising he needing to change his ways and get someone to help him with his IT. Stave 5: The End of It Awakening with a start, Scrooge realised the error of his ways. He rushed to his office, determined to transform his business. He started to plan for the new year ahead and arranged to meet with TechWyse who would help him to update his IT infrastructure, set up SharePoint, improve security, and sort out an offsite backup solution. Scrooge had a great day chatting to Bob about their future plans and that night he fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow. Scrooge’s business flourished, and he became known not only for his wealth but also his efficient and innovative practices, ensuring that everyone could benefit from the digital age. And so, Ebenezer Scrooge’s legacy was not just one of redemption but of embracing the future, proving that even the most stubborn of us can change with the right tools. Merry Christmas Everyone!
November – Celebrating Contributions to Excellent IT Services

Team members celebrated for contributions to excellent IT services In our continued commitment to recognise and celebrate the exceptional contributions of our team, we are proud to announce the introduction of a new initiative: awarding trophies to engineers who exemplify our core values of trusted, talented, and transparent. This initiative not only highlights the achievements of our engineers but also reinforces the importance of these values in everything we do. The Trust Trophy is awarded to engineers who consistently deliver level 4 service, share knowledge and help colleagues to ensure clients receive excellent IT support. These individuals go above and beyond to ensure that their projects are not only completed on time but also meet the highest standards of service quality. We were thrilled to present the Trust Trophy to Chris, who had received such lovely feedback from clients, and was the perfect choice to be the first holder of this trophy. [pictured is Ben who has also since been awarded the Trust Trophy] The Talent Trophy celebrates those engineers who showcase a love of getting to know our clients and their IT infrastructure. These individuals bring creative solutions to the table, pushing the boundaries of what is possible and driving our organisation forward. Congratulations to Niall, the inaugural recipient of the Talent Trophy, whose dedication to improving client infrastructure and expertise have greatly contributed to client successes. Transparency is a cornerstone of our IT services, and the Transparent Trophy is awarded to engineers who embody openness and clear communication. These engineers foster a culture of honesty and collaboration, ensuring that information flows seamlessly across teams and projects. We are honored to award the first Transparency Trophy to Ryan, whose dedication to teamwork has been instrumental in developing our new team leader programme. Alongside our Wyser of the month, these new trophies underline our dedication to supporting our colleagues and putting people at the heart of everything we do.
October – Proactive IT support to prepare for Windows 10 retirement

Windows 11 Rollout Begins Our engineers have been busy starting to help clients to upgrade devices to Windows 11 this month. There is still a year until Windows 10 retires, but we always work to proactively support our clients to ensure they are ready for technological changes and can plan for their future IT needs. These upgrades will enable our clients to take advantage of enhanced security features, improved efficiencies, and all the latest features such as snap layouts and full use of Copilot. Upgrading to Windows 11 will also ensure that our clients will continue to receive updates and support from Microsoft, avoiding potential risks and compliance issues associated with using an unsupported operating system. Alongside this work our engineers have been busy preparing for the switch to our new ticketing system and management have been working on plans for the next few years at TechWyse. A busy month all round and exciting times!
September – Staff away day

Always up for an active away day – TechWyse colleagues enjoyed a full day of activities at Lakeside last week. A refreshing dip in the lake Aquapark, followed by completing challenges at Immersive Gamebox, followed by a session of climbing at RockUp! We ended the day making the most of the chance to refuel in one of the party rooms in RockUp and have a belated 2nd birthday for our rebranding with a rather large cake.
July – On the list again!

We are thrilled to announce that TechWyse has been named on the prestigious 2024 ChannelFutures MSP 501 list of top managed service providers. This year we have climbed to number 254 on the list, so we are beaming from ear to ear. The MSP501 list recognises top managed service providers who stand out from the competition via technical talent, growth-oriented business models and strategic partnerships with tech suppliers. We are very proud to once again achieve a place on this list and look forward to continuing to assist all our customers with the highest quality support.
June – New Certification

TechWyse is very proud to share that we have achieved ISO 27001:2022 for our IT support services. This certification shows our commitment to safeguarding our data and making sure we exercise the highest standards of information security. Over the last year we have continued to invest in enhancing security infrastructure, training staff, and developing our processes and documentation to help meet the rigorous requirements of this standard. Congratulations to our dedicated team for all their hard work to gain this certification and their continued efforts as we continue to focus on service quality.
May – New Look in the office

Huge thanks to VDM for designing a fresh new look for our helpdesk area and break out room, and to the extended Pedder clan who descended on the office over the weekend to put it up. The team have longed for something to liven up this large white wall and we are all loving being greeted by this each day. We have plans for some more art for the breakout room that may involve some neon so watch this space!
